Correction:  Laika & The Cosmonauts's album called Cosmopolis: 1988-2008 is not new, as I thought earlier today (while talking into a microphone, of course). The record's actually from 2008. It says so right on the cover. If I ever figure out why it's in CJAM's "currents" library, I'll let you know.

  1. I appreciate the effort on the TRAIN IN VAIN dub...when I read the blog before listening (probably a no-no), I feared it would be just a reggaefication of the song. But it turned out to be a new song with hints of the original.
    I'm curious to hear more.

  2. If only all Albertans were as charming as the band!

  3. The whole album sounds more new, with less hints. Listened to it last night and was constantly asking, "What's this one supposed to be?"
